Summary events of Novorossiya, February 23, 2017

The Ukrainian fighters have opened fire at the Donetsk filtering station in the morning. The director of the enterprise “The Water of Donbass”, Oleg Mokry said the station goes on working.
The Ukrainian Army has opened fire at the village Yuzhnaya Lomovatka. The electrical substation was damaged. Mines take nourishment from the station. At that moment there were 58 miners.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic over 700 times for the last 24 hours. They used heavy artillery, mortars and antiaircraft guns. Ukrainian fighters shelled 14 localities, the Deputy Commander of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin reported today.
Kiev fighters shelled the positions of the LPR People’s Militia in the villages Kalinovo, Logvinovo, Lozovoe and Kalinovka. They used mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms. There were no casualties; it has been reported by the Ministry of Defense.
The head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko has congratulated on the Defender of the Fatherland Day and he has reminded about the feat of heroes, who died for the future of the Republic.
