Summary events of Novorossiya, January 16, 2017

The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic over 1000 times for the last 24 hours. They used heavy artillery, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. Ukrainian fighters opened fire at the villages Trudovskie, Alexandrovka and Staromikhaylovka in the west of Donetsk, Zaytsevo, Ozeryanovka, Mikhaylovka, Golmovsky, Shirokaya Balka and Zheleznaya Balka, villages Spartak, Zhabichevo, Krutaya Balka near Yasinovataya, southern villages Oktyabr, Kominternovo and Sakhanka. 7 houses were damaged in suburbs of Gorlovka.
Russian representatives of the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination initiated an inquiry of the Ukrainian shelling in Gorlovka, where a child was wounded.
30 Ukrainian Multiple Launch Rocket Systems “Grad” and “Uragan” were detected in Donbass.
