3 Syria — The USA
A joint statement from the inter-agency coordination HQs of Russia and Syria stated that the USA and their allies are imposing illegal economic sanctions against Syria. It was underlined that the economic sanctions «have a negative impact mostly on the ordinary Syrians». The statement added that the illegal presence of the USA and their allies in the international coalition in Syria leads to the plundering of the Syrian natural resources, and to the escalation of the tension in the region. «A striking example is the conclusion of an agreement on the cooperation in the production and sale of oil between the American oil company ‘Delta Crescent Energy’ and the armed terrorist separatist forces that operate in north-east of Syria» — the statement explained and specified that — »the deal ignores the international laws, violates the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Syria. It serves as a cover to fund the US-controlled terrorist enclaves, and it is a continuation of the Washington’s criminal policy, aimed to sabotage the efforts of Damascus to restore the legitimate power and unity of the country» — the document concluded.

5 The USA — Russia
The US Secretary of State, Michael Pompeo, stated during a press conference that the US administration considers the current negotiations between Russia and the US on the further nuclear arms reductions to be «productive». The US Secretary of State underlined that Beijing needs to join the strategic dialogue between Moscow and Washington, given the weight of China on the world stage. Michael Pompeo added that China is conducting large-scale missile tests. «More missile tests took place in China during the last year than in all the Western countries combined» — Michael Pompeo added. In his opinion — the Chinese steps must comply with the provisions of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, as well as the implementation of «signed and unsigned» obligations of such kind.
