Syrian troops repelled a terrorist attack || Breaking News, 29th of April, 2019

The Syrian army repelled the ‘Jebhat al nusra’ terrorist attack on the western areas of Aleppo — the SANA agency reports. The terrorists attacked the western part of Aleppo, near the overpass in ‘Family House’ area. During the battle, the Syrian government forces killed at least 3 terrorists — TASS reports. On Saturday, while repelling a surprise terrorist attack on the Al-Hikma overpass, in the southern part of the city, 17 Syrian soldiers died. The terrorists also suffered casualties, and retreated. On the same day, the terrorists used MLRS to attack the town of El-Khader, located to the south from the administrative center of the province of Aleppo.

The Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, during his telephone conversation with the head of the Libyan Government of National Consent, Faiz Saraj, promised him to make every effort in order to “stop the conspiracy against the Libyan people” — Qatari television channel ‘Al Jazeera’ reported. The security forces of Afghanistan have freed 53 people from a Taliban prison — ‘Khaama Press’ reports with a reference to a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan. According to the ministry, the prisoners were freed from the prison during an operation in the province of Oruzgan, in the central part of Afghanistan. The representative, Nasrat Rahim, reported that during the operation at least 8 terrorists were killed. He added that among the freed people were 4 soldiers, and 4 policemen. On 24th of April, Vladimir Putin signed a decree that gave to the residents of certain districts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine the right to obtain Russian citizenship under a simplified procedure.
