Terrorist attacks in Syria

7 people were killed, 70 were injured during a triple attack in the Syrian city of Qamishli, in north of Syria, in the province of Hasaka. The military reporters of ANNA NEWS in Syria reported that the first explosion took place near the ‘al-Hadisi’ school. The second explosion took place near the ‘Sufara’ Hotel. None of the groups took the responsibility so far.
Turkey

«The founder of the ‘White Helmets’ organization, Englishman James Le Mezure, was found dead near his home in the city of Istanbul» — ‘The Independent’ reported on Monday while citing their unnamed sources. The Turkish newspaper »Sozcu» reported, while citing their source in the local police, that the body of Le Mezure was discovered by his housemates at around 5:30 in the morning. The circumstances of his death are being investigated. The body had signs of violent death — there were cuts, and both of his arms were broken.

The Bolivian President Evo Morales announced his resignation during the ongoing protests in the country. His petition was sent to the Bolivian parliament. The statement was broadcast by one of the local radio stations. Following the president, the Vice President Alvaro Garcia-Linera, the chairmen of both chambers of the parliament, and a number of other senior officials resigned as well. All the powers were given to the second deputy chairman of the Senate of Bolivia, Janine Agnes.

The Israeli military resumed the airstrikes on the Gaza Strip in response to several missiles, launched from the enclave — the IDF announced on Twitter. This escalation at the border line of the Palestinian enclave is the largest over the recent months. It took place after the Israeli Air Force killed the commander of the Palestinian ‘Islamic Jihad’ group in Gaza. The mutual shelling has been going on since Tuesday.

The Russian military police have secured the airport near the village of Metras in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo. The US forces used the airport to supply their own bases, and to deliver military cargo to the so-called «moderate opposition». Recently, the airport came under control of the Syrian government. The military base was abandoned by the US military on Wednesday. The Russian military helicopters were relocated to the airport in order to prevent the US from attacking the runway.

The protests continue in Hong Kong. Two activists from the camp, set up by the protesters at the China University, were detained on Wednesday morning for an illegal assembly. The banks closed 250 branches in the city because the protesters disrupted the transportation. On Thursday, 14th of November, the regional education bureau decided to close all schools and kindergartens for the security reasons. The Beijing office in Hong Kong urged the police to take more severe measures to restore the order while noting that the situation is slipping «into the abyss of terrorism».
