Terrorists fired at the military in Syria

The ’’Al-Hadath’’ TV reported that the ’’Jabhat al-Nusra’’ terrorist group attacked the Syrian positions in Idlib and Aleppo provinces. At least 5 Syrian servicemen, including an officer, were killed in the battle. The ’’Al-Hadath’’ TV noted that the terrorists have intensified their attacks since early July. The Syrian newspaper ’’Al-Watan’’ reported that recently, 11 extremist groups have formed an alliance under the banner of ’’Jabhat al-Nusra’’. They are attacking settlements that were recently liberated by the Syrian army, in order to disrupt the ceasefire in north-western Syria.

The deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, reported that the terrorists shelled the Syrian province of Hama, injuring 11 civilians. They attacked 4 settlements in total. The shelling came from an Idlib DMZ, 24 shells were fired. Additionally, pro-Turkish forces attacked the Abu-Zeidin humanitarian corridor and the checkpoint near the city of Al-Bab, in the Aleppo province.

Negotiations of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took place in Moscow. The meeting lasted for about 2 hours.
