The air defense systems of the Kherson region were strengthened // Israel launched an another strike on Syria

1 Ukraine

Kirill Stremousov, the Deputy Head of Administration of the Kherson region, announced the enhancement of the air defense systems, needed to intercept the missile attacks from Ukraine. «We are slowly setting up anti-air defense systems to build a security network for the residents of the Kherson region» — he explained. He added that the enhancement of the anti-air forces is taking place due to the rising number of Ukrainian attacks. Some attacks took place with the use of US-made MLRS ’HIMARS’. Lately the Ukrainian forces intensified their attacks on the Kherson region. The town of Novaya Kakhovka suffered the most — the Ukrainian missiles damaged the local infrastructure. Some locals were injured and killed — the RIA NEWS reported.

2 Ukraine

Usually the facilities in the suburbs of Damascus, coastal Latakia, or other provinces near Israel are being hit.

5 Croatia

The President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovich, admitted that his country has unfriendly relations with Russia. The Russian government has recently expanded the list of unfriendly countries. Greece, Denmark, Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia were added to the list. Slovenia and Croatia won’t be able to hire employees for their diplomatic missions and consular offices — the RIA NEWS reported. Milanovich noted that his country isn’t as active as the other states. «This is a very dangerous situation that threatens to develop into something unforeseen. I hope that it will not happen» — he stated.

6 Italy

’The National Interest’ reported that the resignation of the Italian Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, will affect the unity of the West against Russia. ’The National interest’ explained that the Italian position on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine may change a lot after the departure of Mario Draghi from the post of head of the Italian government. Such change in the Italian position will be a serious blow to the unified position of the West regarding the support for Ukraine. Earlier, the Italian President, Sergio Mattarella, signed a decree to dissolve the Parliament after the Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, has resigned.
