The date of a ceasefire in Donbass is being discussed

On 27th of April the Ukrainian troops fired at the village of Zolotoe-5 located in the LPR. The 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army fired from 82mm mortars. As a result of the shelling — 2 buildings were damaged at «Pochtovaya Street», houses #24 and #26. There were no casualties among the civilians.

On 28th of April the Ukrainian troops once again shelled the village of ‘Zolotoe-5’ in the LPR. A local school was damaged. The observers from the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission noted the inflicted damage, measured the diameters of the mortar-made potholes, and took photos. The employees of the LPR Representative Office in the Joint Center for the Monitoring and Coordination of the Ceasefire regime did the same, but also they recovered pieces of ammunition at the scene of the incident, determined the direction of the shelling, and interviewed the eyewitnesses.

On 30th of April the DPR People’s Militia shot down 2 Ukrainian military drones that were used to correct the shelling of the outskirts of the city of Donetsk. One of the drones was an ‘ASU-1 Valkyrie’ — it corrected the artillery fire at the village of Staromikhailovka, to the west of Donetsk — 3 local houses were damaged during the shelling. According to the representation of the DPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination — the shelling was done the day before, at 22:05. Fifteen 122mm shells were fired at the village. The second drone, a quadrocopter, was shot down by the DPR forces at the north of Donetsk. The drone corrected the mortar fire at the local ‘Volvo Center’.

The Ukrainian military fired from a heavy machine gun at an apartment building in the town of Dokuchaevsk. The residents of the DPR front-line town noted that the shelling is getting more frequent every day.

The Ukrainian military once again used electronic warfare systems to impede the work of the UAVs of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission above the Troitsky region during this week. This was announced by the official representative of the LPR People’s Militia — Yakov Osadchy. The drones of the Special Monitoring Mission were forced to stop their flights.

“Kiev refuses to negotiate with the Donbass Republics” — the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated after a video conference of the »Norman Four» foreign ministers. He added that the ministers agreed to discuss a ceasefire date. “We agreed that the ‘Tripartite Contact Group’ should discuss the details of a comprehensive ceasefire as soon as possible, and to determine the date of the introduction of the ceasefire” — Dmitry Kuleba explained during an online briefing.
