Тhe DPR adopted a law on the state border

1 Donbass

On Friday, the DPR Parliament passed a law on the state border. The parliament meeting was attended by 76 deputies. They unanimously supported the document during two readings. The chairman of the People’s Council, Vladimir Bidevka, explained that the document defines the borders of the republic within the Donetsk region. «The law doesn’t forget about the people that live on the territory, temporarily controlled by Ukraine. The border is defined by the territory of the Donetsk region from the year of 2014» — the Donetsk news agency quoted his words. He also underlined that «until the conflict in Donbass is settled, the border of the DPR will be defined by the contact line, as it was defined by the Minsk agreements». The law will come into force after the sign of the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, and after the publication on the website of the People’s Council.

2 Iraq

The »Al-Arabiya» TV channel reported, while citing their sources, that over the past 24 hours, 45 people died in clashes between the protesters and the police in Iraq. A new wave of unrest started in Iraq on Thursday morning, when the protesters set fire to the Iranian Consulate building in the city of Najaf, in the south of the country. 12 protesters died there on that day. In the province of Di Kar, in the city of Nasiria, at least 25 people were killed. Others died in the capital, Baghdad.

3 Syria

The mobile team of the Russian special medical forces, deployed in the Syrian city of Kobani, received their first patients during their trip to the village of Tel Ghazal, in the north of the Syrian province of Aleppo. The work of the military doctors was organized simultaneously with a humanitarian action in Tel Ghazal. Two Russian military hospitals are deployed in the north of Syria: in Kobani — the province of Aleppo, and in Qamishli — the province of Hasake. “The daily medical work is organized in the district hospital of the city of Qamishli, and on the place of the deployment of the Russian military police in the city of Kobani. The medical teams work every other day in the settlements across the Euphrates River, in the provinces of Aleppo and Hasake» — the RIA NEWS quoted the representative of the Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties, Vladimir Warnavsky.

4 Pakistan

At least 7 people were injured by an explosion in Lahore, in the north-east of Pakistan — ‘Geo.tv’ reports on Friday. According to the local authorities, an unknown person left an explosive device, about 2 kg, in a local rickshaw cart. The injured people were taken to the nearest hospital, two of them are in critical conditions. The police are conducting an investigation in order to find the organizer of the explosion, and to establish the circumstances of the incident.
