The DPR refuted the information about the seizure of their territories

The employees of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the LPR found a stash of weapons and ammo near the contact line in Donbass. This was reported by the press service of the department. «The employees of the department of the Supervision of the Compliance with the Military Laws of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the LPR, while inspecting an area located in the forest plantation, about 800 meters away from the village of Veselaya Gora in the Slavyanoserbsky District, currently under control of the LPR, found a hidden stash of firearms, ammo, and explosives» — the department reported.

2 Ukrainian troops fired upon a patrol of the special monitoring mission of the OSCE when the patrol was conducting monitoring activities near the area of withdrawal of the military forces and equipment near the village of Zolotoi. This was announced by the officer of the press service of the department of the People’s militia of the LPR — Ivan Filiponenko. He added that «the act of the armed provocation was confirmed by the operational report of the special monitoring mission». The framework decision on the withdrawal of the military forces and equipment in Donbass was signed by the representatives of Ukraine, the LPR, the DPR, Russia and the OSCE back in September of 2016. The document involves the creation of security zones in 3 areas: near the villages of Zolotoi, Luganskaya, and Petrovskii, controlled by the DPR. Currently, the withdrawal of the military forces took place only in the areas near the villages of Zolotoi and Petrovskii. The withdrawal near the village of Luhanskaya was disrupted by Ukraine at least 70 times.

3 The Commissioner for the Human Rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova, during her meeting with the Commissioner for the Human Rights from the Ukrainian Parliament Lyudmila Denisova, welcomed the decision of the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to replace the representatives in the Minsk Group. The first meeting on Donbass in the city of Minsk, which took place after the presidential elections in Ukraine, was held on 5th of June. Earlier, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, once again appointed the former President of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, as the representative of Kiev in the contact group. Leonid Kuchma, who turned 80 in August of 2018, was the representative of Kiev at the negotiations in Minsk until October of the last year.

4 The commander of the 25th brigade of the Ukrainian troops, Colonel Oleg Zenchenko, ordered his subordinates to bombard the monument of the Prince Igor, in order to disrupt the next attempt to withdraw the military forces and equipment from the area near the village of Luhanskaya, planned for 16th of June. This was announced by the officer of the press service of the People’s Militia of the LPR — Ivan Filiponenko. He noted that the command of the so-called «operation of the combined forces» disrupts the peace initiatives of the Ukrainian political leadership.
