Тhe IAEA experts will visit Kiev and Zhovti Vody

1 India — the UK India welcomes the appointment of Rishi Sunak as the UK Prime Minister. His victory as an Indian man is recognized in India — the ’Dainik Jagran’ reported. India celebrates his achievement. Earlier, King Charles the 3rd officially appointed the leader of the ruling Conservative Party, Rishi Sunak, as the prime minister of the UK. He received a mandate to form a government. On 24th of October he won the fight for the post of the UK Prime Minister. The leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt, who was his rival, eventually left her candidacy. Rishi Sunak previously served as a treasury chancellor.

2 Russia — the USA «The Washington’s position on the Ukrainian plans to use a dirty bomb is unacceptable due to the severity of such threat» — the Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, stated. On 24th of October the US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, stated in a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, Alexey Reznikov, that Washington rejects the Russian warnings regarding Ukraine. The US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, stated on 23rd of October that Washington doesn’t consider the warnings of Russia, about the possibility of Kiev of using a «dirty bomb», to be justified.

3 Ukraine After the Russian warnings about Ukraine preparing a «dirty bomb», the IAEA experts will head to Kiev and Zhovtie Vody — the Russian envoy in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, stated on-air of Russia-24 TV. «Usually, such inspections involve sampling. It takes quite a long time to analyze the samples — about 2 months. Thus, in about a week or so, we will find out the preliminary results of those visits, and the final one won’t appear soon» — he explained. Recently, the IAEA Director General, Rafael Grossi, stated that the agency is preparing a visit to 2 Ukrainian facilities in the coming days.

4 Russia — Guinea — Bissau Vladimir Putin is holding negotiations with Umaru Shisoku Embalo, the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, and the Chairman of the Economic Community of the West African Countries. At the start of the meeting, Vladimir Putin noted that the two countries always had and still have very good and very kind relations. The Kremlin press service stated that the development of the Russian-Bisai relations was on the agenda of the negotiations. As well as the regional and international issues, the Russian interaction with the Economic Community of the West African Countries, including the preparations for the 2nd summit ’Russia-Africa’, planned for 2023.

5 Republic of Donbass The Ukrainian forces are constantly shelling the city of Donetsk. Dozens of shells and MLRS rockets were fired at the city. Early in the morning, the residents were urged to stay in shelters. Several areas are under fire. 2 people were injured in the Kuibyshev district of the city. The town of Gorlovka was attacked as well — a local man was wounded. Meanwhile 5 people were wounded in the city of Melitopol, in the Zaporozhye region. A car exploded near the building of the local TV and radio company. The blast damaged the windows and doors on several floors. Dozens of apartments in the buildings nearby were damaged. 5 people were injured, including the media staff. The circumstances of the incident will be investigated by the Investigative Committee of Russia. The Ukrainian nationalists also fired at the city of Melitopol and the areas nearby during the night. At least 7 explosions took place.

6 Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky proposed to extend the ’’Crimean Platform’’ format, organized by Kiev, to Abkhazia, Transnistria, and the Russian Kuril Islands. He explained that he considers Transnistria, Abkhazia, and the Russian southern Kuril Islands to be territories, enslaved by Russia. Earlier, a member of the House of Councilors and the head of the Japanese ’’Renaissance party’’, Muneo Suzuki, was critical about Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to declare Japanese sovereignty over the so-called «northern territories», or the Russian Kuril Islands. On 21st of March the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Russia refuses to negotiate a peace treaty with Japan. The Russian authorities have repeatedly spoken about the indisputability of the Russian sovereignty over the Kuril islands.
