The Iranian air force drones attacked the territory of Iraqi Kurdistan

1 Republic of Donbass The majority of residents of the DPR, the LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions voted ’for’ the accession of their regions to Russia with a high turnout. The voting was declared to be valid in all 4 regions. The voting took place from 23rd till 27th of September. Because of the threat of Ukrainian shelling, and for the sake of security, for the first 4 days the ballots were accepted by mobile election commissions inside schools, theaters, and nearby territories. The residents were visited personally to take their votes. On the last day it was possible to cast a vote at the specially prepared polling stations. The refugees could vote in Russia. In the Kherson region, 87,05% of voters voted ’for’ joining Russia. In the Zaporozhye region, 93.11% of voters voted ’for’ joining Russia. In the DPR, 99.23% of voters voted ’for’ joining Russia. In the LPR, 98.42% of voters voted ’for’ joining Russia.

2 Ukraine The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the offensive of the Ukrainian forces in the Krasnolimansky area had failed. Ukraine lost over 70 men, 4 tanks, and 6 IFVs. The points of temporary deployment of the Ukrainian tactical group «Chaika», from the 36th Marine Brigade , located on the island of Hortytsya, the 56th motorized infantry brigade located in the Zaporozhye region, as well as the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades in the Kharkov region were hit — Igor Konashenkov reported. A point of temporary deployment of Ukrainian military and foreign mercenaries near the city of Nikolaev was hit as well.

3 The USA «Joe Biden must answer the question of whether Washington implemented the threat against the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline» — the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, stated with a reference to the video with the corresponding speech of Joe Biden. She noted that the incident is being qualified, so far, as a rupture of the pipelines, with a guess that they were attacked. On the night of 26th of September, the gas pressure dropped in the ’Nord Stream 2’ pipeline. The drop was noticed inside the pipe ’A’. The pressure drop was also recorded inside both pipes of the ’Nord Stream 1’, in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark, north-east of the island of Bornholm. A 5-mile no-go zone for the shipping has been established in the leak zones.

4 Iran — Iraq Iranian military drones attacked the Iraqi Kurdistan — the ’Al-Hadath’ reported. The Iranian kamikaze drones hit a number of targets in the cities of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, at noon, on 28th of September. The targets of the drone strikes were the HQs of the Iranian Kurdistan Democratic Party. The drone strikes were carried out by kamikaze drones, launched from Iran. Meanwhile, the Iranian forces are shelling the Iraqi territory in areas of possible border crossing. The reason of the shelling are the recent protests in the Iranian Kurdistan. According to the Iranian authorities — they are being coordinated from abroad. In particular — from Iraq.

5 Belarus A sudden check of combat and mobilization readiness began on the airbase near the village of Machulishchi, near the city of Minsk. The Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported that the surprise check started in the airbase 06752, in accordance with the training plan for their Air Forces and Air Defense Forces. During the check, which will take place within a month, a number of issues will be checked, the main of which will be the conscription and restoration of the skills of those liable for a military service, and the removal of military and special equipment from the storage area in order to check the combat readiness. Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko denied the reports that a mobilization is being prepared in Belarus. He underlined however that the country must be ready for the possible threats, therefore exercises are often being held in Belarus, including the participation of the people’s militia.

6 Japan — North Korea ’’Japan sent a protest note to North Korea via the diplomatic channels from the Japanese embassy in Beijing due to a missile launch» — the Deputy of the Japanese Defense Minister, Toshiro Ino, stated. «We strongly condemn the missile launches — they violate the UNSC resolutions. We protested the actions of North Korea via our diplomatic channels, via the embassy in Beijing» — Toshiro Ino stated and added that starting in 2022, North Korea has been carrying out missile launches ’’with an intensity never seen before’’. Previously, the ’Yonhap’ news agency reported the launch of a North Korean ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan.
