1 Israel — The Gaza Strip

On Friday night, the IDF attacked the military targets of the radicals in the Palestinian enclave. It was the largest military operation since the start of the current escalation of the conflict. 160 aircraft simultaneously attacked 150 targets for 40 minutes. It was noted that not a single Israeli soldier entered the Gaza Strip. The IDF reported that «the target of the attack was the network of tunnels used by the radicals for transportation and hiding, located under the city of Gaza». The Israeli mass media reported that recently the IDF killed several hundred operatives of the ’Hamas’ movement in the Gaza Strip. 7 people died as a result of the recent shelling of Israel. Over 520 were wounded. According to the Ministry of Health of the coastal enclave, the number of Palestinian casualties reached 119. More than 620 people were injured.

2 Israel — the Gaza Strip

The ’Al Jazeera’ TV reported on Friday that the ’Hamas’ reported about their attack on an Israeli chemical plant in the settlement of Nir-Oz. The attack was carried out with a UAV. The IDF reported on Twitter that «some time ago the ’Iron Dome’ air defense system intercepted a UAV, moving from the Gaza Strip to Israel». The Israeli Air Force reported on Twitter that since Thursday evening, the Israel’s air defense forces have shot down about 190 rockets, launched from the Gaza Strip. 30 rockets fell inside the Gaza Strip. On Friday, an Israeli UAV attacked a car near the Syrian-Lebanese border. The ’Al-Hadath’ TV reported that the car was transporting some members of the Shiia armed militia from the Hezbollah that fights alongside the Syrian government army. The ’Naharnet’ news website reported that an ammo convoy was attacked from the air when it was heading into Syria via a border crossing point.

3 Syria

On Thursday, the deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria, Rear-Admiral Alexander Karpov, reported that the Russian military police stopped, and turned in the opposite direction a US military convoy, in the north-east of Syria, in the province of Hasakah. He noted that the US military, once again, violated the deconflicting protocols. It was reported that the convoy moved along the M-4 highway to the west, on an uncoordinated route, and without a prior notice.

4 Armenia — Azerbaijan

The Armenian Defense Ministry reported that some Azerbaijani troops are located on the Armenian territory, in the border region of Syunik. It was noted that on Thursday, during the talks, Armenia demanded to pull out the Azerbaijani troops. Telephone talks took place between the Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The parties discussed the incident on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Vladimir Putin underlined the need for the strict observance of the ceasefire. Nikol Pashinyan sent letters to the chairman of the CSTO Council, the current President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and to other members of the council due to the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

5 Afghanistan

An explosion in a mosque in the Afghan province of Kabul killed at least 12 people — the ’TOLOnews’ TV reported while citing the police. The explosion took place during the Friday prayers. The imam of the mosque was among the victims. About 20 people were injured.

6 The USA — Afghanistan

A spokesman for the US Department of Defense, John Kirby, announced that the USA are still pulling the troops from Afghanistan on a schedule, despite the recent terrorist attacks, attributed to the Taliban. He added that the commander of the US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, Lieutenant-General Scott Miller, is monitoring the situation. Constantine Reztsov, specially for the ANNA NEWS
