The destruction of the mall was carried out at night in order to not put the civilian population in a danger. As a result of the strike, the mall was completely destroyed along with military equipment and warehouses with ammo.

On 21st of March the Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of the advance of the Russian forces in the Sumy region, where they continue to hold the Ukrainian forces. «The advance of Russian forces in the Sumy region. The restoration work will start in certain areas of the city» — the politician explained. Recently, the Ukrainian forces massively shelled the frontline region of Donetsk. As a result, several social facilities were damaged. 2 local women were injured. The evacuation of civilians from the front-line town of Yasinovataya to Russia continues. The head of the town, Dmitry Shevchenko, said that women and children are being transported at the moment.

Nearly 50,000 more refugees have arrived to Russia from Donbas over the weekend, bringing the total number to about 350,000 of people since the start of the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine. The total number includes more than 73,000 of children — the RIA NEWS reported. The flow of refugees is growing.

On 21st of March, the Russian and Ukrainian delegations held a new round of negotiations on the situation in Donbass. The negotiations lasted an hour and a half. Then they continued in the format of working groups. “An online meeting took place. From 10:30 to 12:00 there was an official delegation. Then came the working groups.
