The Russian military took full control of the city of Izyum

1 Russia

The first pumping station was launched on the North Crimean Canal. It is located in the village of Pobednoye, in the Dzhankoy district. The station consists of 6 pumps. The total capacity is 75 cubic meters per second. Earlier it was reported about the slow, natural filling of the North Crimean Canal with water up to the first pumping station in Dzhankoy district. Previously, Ukraine provided up to 85% of Crimean needs for fresh water via the North Crimean Canal. The length of the channel is 400 kilometers.

2 Russia

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that the Ukrainian embassies abroad continue to recruit mercenaries to fight Russia. She noted that the supply of arms by the West to Ukraine poses a threat to the civilian population. She added that there have been cases before when weapons, supplied by the NATO countries, were used against the citizens of NATO countries. Maria Zakharova added that in addition, Ukraine created a threat to shipping in the Black Sea. She noted that the talks between Ukraine and Russia continue in a conference call mode.

3 Ukraine

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry posted a fake footage on the Facebook that showed how the Ukrainian forces, supposedly, shot down 4 Russian helicopters KA-52. The footage turned out to be made in a computer game — likely ARMA 3. Additionally, the footage shows not the KA-52 helicopters, but the single-seater KA-50s, which have notably different frontal structure. Oddly high treetops and slow motion can also be seen on the footage.

4 Europe

The UN Security Council didn’t adopt the Russian draft resolution on Ukraine. The project supposed to provide a safe evacuation of the civilians. It didn’t get the required number of votes on the ballot. Only Russia and China voted ’’for’’, the other Council members decided to abstain, but no-one voted «against». Belarus, North Korea and Syria are listed as co-authors of the resolution.

5 Ukraine

Igor Kirillov reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense presented the evidence that the biolabs in Ukraine were making bioweapons. The funding of the military biological activities allowed the USA to take at least 16,000 biological samples from there. The investment fund «Rosemont Seneca», headed by Hunter Biden, sponsored the biolabs. The US Agency for the International Development, the George Soros Foundation, and the Centers for the Disease Control and Prevention also take part in the implementation of the program. According to Igor Kirillov — the biolabs in Ukraine participated in a large-scale screening of natural immunity in order to select biological agents that are most dangerous for the population of a certain region.

6 Ukraine

The Russian Emergencies Ministry organized one-time payments to the residents of the liberated territories of Ukraine in accordance with the decision of the Russian Government, Alexander Chupriyan stated. One-time payments of 10,000 rubles are aimed to support the most socially weak groups of the population, such as pensioners and the public sector employees. The security of the points that issue the financial aid is being monitored by the Russian National Guard.

7 The DPR

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported about the liberation of the town of Izyum by the Russian forces. Izyum is located on the half-way between the cities of Kharkov and Donetsk, which makes Izyum a strategic point for the Ukrainian forces. The defense lines of the Ukrainian forces from Donetsk to Kharkov took heavy damage after their loss of Izyum. The DPR forces, supported by the Russian forces, now have the space to attack the towns of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. They also got the opportunity to finish off the local Ukrainian forces. Igor Kanashenkov reported on the destruction of many Ukrainian air defense missile launchers and the temporary deployment center of the Ukrainian national battalion in Lisichansk, with high-precision weapons. Over the past day, 60 Ukrainian military facilitis were hit. The Russian air defense forces shot down 2 Ukrainian UAVs near the Staraya Markovka and Kharkov.

8 Russia

Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with the Russian Security Council. The Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported on the progress of the special military operation aimed to protect Donbass, and on the efforts of the Russian military to provide humanitarian aid, and restore the vital infrastructure in the territories, liberated from the Ukrainian radicals. The issues of the economic recovery under sanctions were mentioned, as well as the details on the negotiation process. According to Dmitry Peskov — «a regret was expressed due to the slowness of Ukraine».

9 Europe

According to the statement made after the NATO summit in Brussels, the NATO leaders decided to deploy 4 battlegroups in eastern Europe. The groups will be located in Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. The NATO leaders also decided to support Ukraine. In particular, the NATO allies expressed their intention to enhance the support for Ukraine, including the cybersecurity, and countering chemical and nuclear threats. The NATO also agreed to expand the funding for military spending. An another outcome of the summit was the extension of the powers of Jens Stoltenberg until 30th of September, 2023.
