2 Afghanistan
The Afghan Defense Ministry reported on Twitter that over the past day, the Afghan military killed 455 Taliban terrorists, and wounded 232. It was noted that the Afghan forces are conducting fierce battles in several provinces of the country. Especially strong opposition takes place for the city of Herat, which is the 3rd largest city in Afghanistan. Earlier the Taliban took control of the central districts of the city. It was reported that as a result of the US airstrike on the city of Lashkargah, 7 terrorists were killed. A large number of weapons and ammo were destroyed.

The embassy stated that the Taliban killed dozens of civilians in the Kandahar province, which constitutes as a war crime, and it calls for an investigation of the Taliban actions. It was noted that the British Embassy in Kabul relies on a report from the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission. No details were given about the events in Kandahar province, where the Taliban captured an area near the border with Pakistan a few days ago.
6 Russia — Uzbekistan
Joint Russian-Uzbek exercises started in Uzbekistan — the press service of the Central Russian Military District reported. It was noted that the military will practice actions aimed to ensure territorial integrity on the border with Afghanistan. The military of the two countries were greeted by the Chief of Staff of the Central Military District, Major General, Nikolai Tereshchenko, and the Deputy Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan for the combat training, Colonel Kadyr Tursunov.
