The department also reported that at least 1,500 people tried to organize riots in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on the night of 9th of August. According to the department — the participants tried to break into the parliament building, shopping centers and supermarkets. They also blocked the roads.

He added that the topic of the Kuril Islands isn’t a subject of discussion. If Japan is determined to sign a peace treaty — such actions don’t bring that moment closer. According to him, after this incident, the Russian Foreign Ministry will, most likely, send a note of protest to Japan.
The Egyptian security forces eliminated 17 terrorists that, according to the police, were involved in the explosion in the city of Cairo on Sunday — Interfax reports while citing a statement from the Egyptian Interior Ministry. All those terrorists were in the armed wing of the ‘Hasm’ group, associated with the «Muslim Brotherhood», which is outlawed in the country. As a result of a collision of several cars in the center of Cairo on Sunday evening — an explosion took place. As a result, 20 people died, 47 were injured. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi qualified the incident as a terrorist attack. As the investigation established — one of the cars was hijacked. The car carried some explosives.
