The Russian and Syrian inter-agency coordination HQ made a joint statement, according to which the male population of the ‘Rukban’ refugee camp in Syria was forced to join the US-controlled terrorist groups. This information was obtained from the terrorists from the ‘Maghavir al-Saura’ group, who fought their way into the territories, controlled by the Syrian forces. They added that «the terrorists, controlled by the USA, intentionally create conditions, under which people who do not want to fight, or become members of any groups, do not receive food and medical aid as the result». Russia and Syria called on the USA to strictly abide by the international law, the UN principles, and to immediately transfer control over all illegally occupied Syrian territories back to the Syrian government. «The further occupation of the Syrian territory by the USA and their allies only increases the suffering of the civilians, and it delays the return to a peaceful life in the country» — the statement concluded.
