The Taliban promise not to attack other countries
This is a special program from the ’ANNA NEWS’. I am Constantine Reztsov.
The Taliban are not going to use Afghan territory for attacks on foreign states — a Taliban delegation stated during a meeting with the Russian presidential special envoy for Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov.
“During the meeting, the delegation of the Islamic Emirate repeated its position that the Afghan soil won’t be used against anyone” — the Taliban announced.
The Taliban delegation also assured that they are interested in building a sustainable peace in Afghanistan. They guarantee that the border crossing points with the neighboring countries will work as usual.
The visit of the Taliban representatives to Moscow lasted for 2 days. The meeting was chaired by the head of the department for the relations with Afghan citizens, Shahabuddeen Delaware.
Since the start of the pulling of the US troops from Afghanistan, the Taliban took over a lot of new territories, and they are fighting to come to power. Nearby country Tajikistan is fortifying their security on the southern border, and asks the CSTO allies for a help in countering of the security threats.
