The Ukrainian troops opened mortar fire on a railway station

The DPR observers in the joint control and coordination center recorded the opening of a mortar fire from the positions of the 1st battalion of the 54th brigade of Ukrainian troops at the Yasinovataya railway station, in the village of Yakovlevka. The Ukrainian troops fired four 82mm mortar shells. The Ukrainian military opened fire during the repair work at the railway station. Ukraine was notified in advance about the work on that specified site. Due to the criminal actions of the Ukrainian troops that acted out of control of the occupation forces — the workers stopped their work, and left the area.

«The Ukrainian military violated the additional measures, taken to enhance and control the ceasefire in Donbass, 192 times» — said Eduard Basurin, the deputy head of the DPR People’s Militia Department. On 13th of October the DPR observers at the joint control and coordination center recorded a mortar fire, coming from the positions of the 1st battalion of the 54th brigade of Ukrainian troops, stationed near the village of Avdeevka, at the village of Yakovlevka. The Ukrainian troops fired three 82mm mortar shells. The fire was opened during a repair work on the railway tracks at the «Donetsk-Severny» — «Yasinovataya» ferry station. Ukraine was notified in advance about the repair work, carried out in that specified area.

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission recorded the presence of Ukrainian military equipment outside of the designated storage areas, as well as in the security zones. 2 armored combat vehicles were found near the village of Shumy. 1 APC and 1 IFV were found near the village of Slavnoye. 1 armored combat vehicle was found near the village of Nikolaevka.
