The US patrol the northern Syria together with the YPG

The USA are conducting joint patrols with the Kurdish units of the People’s Self-Defense Forces in the security zone in north of Syria. Those actions are contrary to the agreements, reached between the US and Turkey on 17th of October» — the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told to reporters on Tuesday, RIA NEWS reports. According to the agreements reached between Turkey, Russia, and the USA — the Kurdish forces must leave the area of Manbij and Tell Rifaat.

On Thursday, during a press conference in Ankara, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the Kurdish »People’s Self-Defense Forces», which Turkey recognizes as a terrorist organization, didn’t leave the north-east of Syria. «We held negotiations with the USA, as a result of which the terrorists were given 120 hours to leave. These agreements were not fulfilled. Under our agreement with Russia, they were given 150 hours. The terrorists still didn’t leave these territories in Syria» — TASS quoted the Turkish president. Tayyip Erdogan also intends to discuss the situation in Syria with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Turkish news agency »Anadolu» reports, while citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, that the Turkish and Russian troops started the 3rd ground patrol in Syria, east of the Euphrates River, in the region between the settlements of Kamyshly and Al-Malikiya. The patrolling troops use drones. The patrol itself takes place as a part of the agreements reached in Sochi, on 22nd of October

The National Security Committee of Tajikistan reported that the people that attacked the border post on the Tajik-Uzbek border were ISIS terrorists. They entered the country from Afghanistan. According to the detainees — they planned to carry out terrorist attacks, aimed to destabilize the situation in the country. The attack on the border post on the Tajik-Uzbek border was carried out on Wednesday night, by a group of 20 men. As a result, 15 criminals were killed, another 5 were captured. 2 Tajik security forces servicemen were killed.

On Friday, the Turkish Interior Ministry announced the start of the Operation »Kiran-5», aimed against the «Kurdistan Workers Party» in the south-east of the country. The operation will involve 2625 military personnel of 179 military units — the Turkish news agency ‘Anadolu’ reports. The statement specified that the operation will be carried out in the countryside of the Turkish provinces of Diyarbakir, Bingol and Mus. The goal of the operation is the neutralization of the terrorists in the region.

The Turkish news agency ‘Anadolu’ reported about the start of the construction of two US military bases in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor, near the oil fields. According to the ‘Anadolu’ — one of the bases is being built at the current position of the 113th brigade, the second base — in the area of as-Sur.
