The US President Donald Trump announced that the US troops can be pulled out from Afghanistan after the singing of peace agreements — RIA NEWS reports. There were rumors back in December, suggesting that the United States were going to prepare a plan of the withdrawal from Afghanistan. The White House denied the rumors, but later the new details of that plan became known to the public.

A source of The Wall Street Journal reported that «the United States recently informed their Western allies that Russia has, so far, deployed four divisions of 9M729 cruise missiles». The article says that 3 months ago the United States spoke about 3 such divisions. According to the source — “in total, Russia has almost a hundred of those missiles, including the spare ones” — TASS reports. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced that Moscow never received any evidence from the United States on the alleged violation of the INF treaty by Russia. The US continue sticking to their position. They are moving towards a moratorium on the fulfillment of all their obligations.
The European partners of the Venezuelan oil and gas company PDVSA suspended their purchases of oil after the introduction of US sanctions against the company — TASS reports with a reference to Reuters. According to Reuters — the decision was made because of the possible sanctions against PDVSA by the EU. On Thursday, the head of EU diplomacy, Federica Mogerini, announced that the sanctions are possible, but they will be directed against «specific individuals who use violence, or demolish democracy». The US Treasury Department announced they could loosen the sanctions against PDVSA if the Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido, who declared himself an interim president, gets the control over the company.
