Turkey has blocked the negotiations on Finland and Sweden regarding their joining of the NATO. Recently, the Bloomberg reported, while citing their sources, that Turkey is demanding the inclusion of Ankara into the F-35 program, and the lifting of the sanctions for the purchase of S-400s from Russia, in order for Finland and Sweden to be able to join the NATO. According to the Bloomberg — Turkey is demanding the Swedish and Finnish authorities to publicly denounce the «Kurdistan Workers’ Party» and other related parties. Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey can’t say ’’yes’’ to the membership of Finland and Sweden in the NATO.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov stated that the Russian forces are using new-generation combat laser systems in the special operation in Ukraine. It was his reply on a question regarding the use of such systems by the Russian forces in Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense also showed a footage of sorties of SU-35S fighters. Meanwhile, the Western mass media once again published fake news by using the word «evacuation» instead of the word «captivity». The word ’’evacuation’’ in military context means ’’being taken to the rear’’. The DPR hospitals aren’t located deep within the Ukrainian territory. Nevertheless, the Western mass media still publish such misleading reports. Vladimir Zelensky presents those reports as an achievement of Ukraine. Supposedly it was a humanitarian operation, carried out by Ukraine — the Russian Foreign Ministry’s spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, explained how it was presented. Predictably, Vladimir Zelensky is good at making a comedy.
