Turkey is sponsoring the terrorists

1 Syria

2 terrorists, captured by the Syrian military near the city of Aleppo, told during interrogations that Turkey and Saudi Arabia are providing the funding and manpower for the ‘Jebhat al-Nusra’ terrorist group. According to one of the captives — the terrorists from Pakistan and Afghanistan are currently fighting on the side of the extremist group.

2 Turkey — Syria

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced that the Turkish forces were sent to the Syrian Idlib in order to fortify the observation posts. 12 observation posts of the Turkish army are operational in the Syrian province of Idlib at the moment. Cavusoglu also said that Russia and Turkey are working together in order to reduce the tensions in Idlib. According to him — the Astana and Sochi agreements, made for the settlement of the Syrian situation, still continue to operate, but they were damaged.

The Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar announced that in response to the shelling of the Turkish military in Idlib — Turkey “neutralized” 76 Syrian soldiers by hitting 54 targets. The head of the PR department of the Turkish presidential administration, Fahrettin Altun, announced that Turkey won’t hesitate to take actions against any threats. Ankara demonstrated such position on Monday, in Idlib. It was also reported that during the escalation in Syria — telephone conversations took place between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and Russia — Mevlut Cavusoglu and Sergey Lavrov. The parties agreed on the need to comply with the agreements aimed to normalize the situation in the area — the Russian Foreign Ministry reported. The negotiations were initiated by Turkey.

4 Syria

The SANA news agency reported that on Tuesday the terrorists attacked the Syrian oil and gas facilities in the province of Homs. The Syrian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Ali Ghanim, told to the agency. The fires that broke out after the attack were extinguished. An assessment of the material damage is underway. No casualties were reported.

5 Syria

The Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria reported on Monday that the ‘White Helmets’ organization, supported by the terrorists of ‘Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’, «is preparing a provocation with poisonous substances». The information was received by the Center’s “hot line” from 2 residents of the Idlib DMZ. According to the Center — a group of 15 ‘White Helmets’ arrived for such purpose on 1st of February to the village of Maarret al-Art, located in the idlib DMZ. The leader of the terrorist group has filming experience — he made a staged footage of the fake «chemical attack» that supposedly took place on 4th of April, 2017, in the city of Khan Sheikhun, in the province of Idlib. The fake footage will be published by the White Helmets on their platforms on the social networks. Then the footage will be published further, by the Western and Arab mass media.

6 Belarus — Russia

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, plans to meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin on 7th of February. Lukashenko announced his plan during his visit to the Dobrush paper factory «Hero of Labor». “Most likely, I will meet with the President Putin on 7th of February. A certain moment of truth has come. We were the initiators of these relations — we should break them as well.” — the BelTA news agency quotes Lukashenko. A spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed that such meeting is being prepared. It was reported that negotiations will be held in Russia.
