Turkey will ensure the security of the Kabul airport after the withdrawal of US troops

Recently it became known who will be responsible for the ensuring of the security of the Kabul airport after the pulling of the US troops from Afghanistan. As the «RIA NEWS» reports with a reference to the US Presidential National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan — Turkey has assumed this responsibility.

The agreement on ensuring of the security of the Kabul airport was reached during a meeting between the presidents of the two countries, Biden and Erdogan. Jake Sullivan added that the USA are also planning in case if Turkey fails to fulfill its responsibilities.

Most likely, Ankara will use mercenaries among the Syrian terrorists to carry out this task in Afghanistan. Earlier, Turkey has already used the mercenaries during the war in Libya and in Nagorno-Karabakh.

In September 2021, the US-led international coalition forces will leave Afghanistan. The situation in the country is rapidly getting worse. The Taliban are seizing more and more territories in different provinces of Afghanistan.
