Ukrainian troops hinder the flights of the OSCE drones

The Ukrainian forces blocked the work of UAV of the OSCE in seven or so settlements, located on the demarcation line — said the deputy head of the DPR People’s Militia Department, Eduard Basurin. “Over the past week, we have discovered numerous facts of the activity of mobile electronic warfare groups from the 305th and 20th EW battalions of the Ukrainian army. The observers of the OSCE mission were forced to stop using the UAV because of the threat of their loss near the settlements of Slavnoe, Novoselovka Vtoraya, Fedorovka, Gnutovo, Bogdanovka, Troitskoye and Starognatovka” — Eduard Basurin specified. He added that these villages are located in the Gorlovka and Mariupol directions. Eduard Basurin underlined that «all the facts of the obstruction of UAV flights by the Ukrainian forces were confirmed in the official reports of the OSCE monitoring mission.»

On 25th of July, in the village of Zaitsevo, on the Brusilova Street, located in a buffer zone, a civilian stepped on a landmine. The local woman died from the injuries received from the explosion.

Ukraine violated the ceasefire and attacked the positions of the People’s Militia of the DPR in the south of the Republic — the press service of the People’s Militia Department of the DPR reported. “At 14:05, near the village of October, the Ukrainian troops dropped a VOG-17 grenade at our positions with the help of an UAV. As a result of a grenade explosion — three DPR People’s Militia soldiers were injured” — a representative of the defense department explained. The UAV was destroyed by the air defense units of the Republic. “At 14:35, the enemy made a second attempt of an air attack. However, as it was approaching our positions — the UAV was shot down. The UAV crashed on the territory, controlled by Ukraine. As a result of the explosion of its ammunition — the dry grass near the Ukrainian positions caught fire” — the defense department concluded.

The Ukrainian troops equipped the new positions near an apartment building in the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya — said the press officer of the press service of the LPR People’s Militia, Ivan Filiponenko. He stated that the command of some Ukrainian brigades took the advantage of the ceasefire, and continued to equip their new positions, as well as regroup their forces and assets.

A defender of the town of Yasinovataya reported about the situation in the area. He told about repeated enemy attacks on the town of Yasinovataya with the use of ATGMs. An ATGM is a guided missile that is controlled by a human. In this case — by a Ukrainian serviceman. Nevertheless, those guided missiles still fly towards the local civilians and their homes.

The village of Yasnoe is located near the town of Dokuchaevsk. The locals report that the announced «ceasefire» exists only for one side of the conflict. Apparently it doesn’t concern Ukraine, since only the DPR does adhere to the ceasefire.
