President of Ukraine Petr Poroshenko, after the negotiations with the head of the European Council Donald Tusk and the chairman of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, said that the only way to resolve the conflict on the territory of the Donbass is to seal the border with Russia. «The Kremlin must accept the deployment of a multinational peacekeeping operation under the leadership of the United Nations throughout the temporarily occupied territory of the Donbass, including the border with Russia» — Poroshenko added.

In the DPR, over the past day, the Ukrainian troops violated the ceasefire 5 times, firing 85 shells at the front-line areas of the Republic. The northern parts of Donetsk, the outer areas of Gorlovka, and the southern villages of Leninskoye and Sakhanka were under fire. Two houses in Gorlovka received damage as a result of shelling.

According to a bill that was delivered to the US Congress — the Secretary of State, the Minister of Finances and the Director of the National Intelligence of the United States must make reports related to the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. The bill announced that the construction of the «Nord Stream-2» will increase European dependence on Russian gas, and it will destabilize the government of Ukraine if the country will lose the revenue from gas transit due to the existence of the Nord Stream-2, RT reports. In this regard, it is noted that the US should continue to oppose the construction of the «Nord Stream-2» in Europe, and take «diplomatic measures» to suppress such projects.
