The military took control of the capital in Zimbabwe. The country’s President Robert Mugabe together with his family, has been placed under house arrest. The 93-year-old head of the country is likely to resign. The military now controls television, government buildings and courts in Harare, the roads are currently blocked. Earlier, the military command stated that this was not a coup d’état.

At least one civilian died in the north of Aleppo as a result of mortar shelling. According to a local news channel, the fire was conducted by a group of people affiliated with the so-called Free Syrian Army.

According to the Kurdish sources, the units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) repulsed two attacks by the ISIS militants near the oil field of Tanak and the village of Shuheil al-Gharbi. As we reported earlier, the Kurds managed to take control of one of the most important oil fields in Syria: the ISIS fighters produced about 20 000 barrels of oil daily on Tanak.

Last night in the DPR the village of Zaitsevo in the north of Gorlovka got under heavy Grad rocket system fire. At midnight the AFU launched 80 rockets from Dzerzhinsk direction targeting the district of Zaitsevo. Let us remind you that the night before, Dokuchaevsk also got under artillery bombing. The information about victims and destruction is being specified. During the past 24 hours, the AFU violated the ceasefire regime 57 times, firing 1,775 shells of various calibers in the front territories of the country.

The AFU shelled the positions of the People’s Militia of the LPR 10 times over the past day. Kalinovo, Frunze, Krasny Yar, Logvinovo, Zhelobok, Prishib, Sanzharovka, Sokolniki and Dolgoye were subjected to shelling by means of mortars of various caliber, arms of IFVs, grenade launchers and small arms.

The Syrian government army repelled a massive attack by opposition fighters in Harast, the north-eastern suburb of Damascus. The local sources report that the coordinated offensive of the rebels was attended by Ahrar al-Sham, Tahrir al-Sham and Failak al-Rahman factions, who has joined their efforts forces despite differences and conflicts in the past. The attack of islamists was reflected with the support of air strikes of Syrian and Russian AF.
