According to ANNA News military correspondents, a large part of the Syrian city of Abu Kamal passed under the control of government troops, but it is too early to speak about full control over the «ISIS last stronghold». According to the Iranian media, one of the commanders of the Allied forces, namely the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, was killed during the fights in the city.

Two people were killed as a result of yet another mortar shelling of Damascus. This is reported by military sources. The south-western region of Mezze was subjected to shelling. One of the shells exploded near the residential block without causing significant harm. The second one hit the car, killing two people who were inside. It should be noted that Damascus is subjected to shelling by the opposition for the sixth day in a row after «Ahrar al-Sham» militants began a massive attack on the strategic transport base in the north-eastern city suburb of Harast.

The Social Democratic Party of Germany (SDP) refused to create a «big coalition» with Chancellor Angela Merkel’s CDU/CSU block. «The tactic that implies the preservation of the «big coalition» was wrong for the SDP on September 24 ( the election day) and remains incorrect on November 20,» the acting party chairman tweeted. Previously, the Green Party also denied joining the coalition with the CDU/CSU.

The Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Kiev was vandalized for the second time. The unidentified individuals poured cement on the monument for the second time. «The incident occurred last night. The police are working on the spot, they are looking for malefactors,» the local media reported. Let’s recall that the first time a similar act of vandalism occurred in Kiev in October. That time the Eternal Flame was cleared, and the city authorities promised to find criminals.

During the past day the AFU violated the ceasefire regime 38 times, firing more than 900 projectiles. The AFU used artillery, mortars of various caliber, grenade launchers and small arms. The areas of 17 settlements of the Republic got under enemy’s fire.

During the past day the AFU shelled the positions of the People’s Militia of the LPR 13 times. Pervomaisk, Kalinovo, Frunze, Logvinovo, Kalinovka, Khoroshoe as well as the vicinity of the monument to Knyaz Igor at Luganskaya Stanitsa were subjected to shelling. The fire was delivered by means of mortars, IFVs, grenade launchers and small arms.
