Israeli army strikes anti-aircraft installations in Syria


1 Israel

The IDF attacked radars and anti-aircraft installations in Syria on Wednesday night in a response to a missile launch at Israel — the IDF press service reported. The air-raid sirens went off in the city of Umm al-Fahm and in the northern parts of the West Bank in the Palestinian autonomy. The anti-aircraft missile wasn’t intercepted — it exploded on it’s own in the air. The SANA reported that as a result of the strikes, 1 Syrian soldier was killed and 5 were injured.

2 Donbass

The DPR reported that Ukraine is preparing a provocation while filming new fake videos. According to Eduard Basurin, the Ukrainian high command makes fake videos to discredit Donbass, and they are sending tanks to the contact line. The LPR reported that the LPR military prevented a massive shelling — a drone, sent by the Ukrainian forces to scout the area, was shot down. The Ukrainian hacker group «Beregini» published the data on weapons that Ukraine receives from the NATO countries — not all weaponry was defensive. It was specified that the deliveries have been going on since 2014. During this time, weapons worth of more than 700 millions of dollars were sent to Ukraine.

3 Russia

A cell of the terrorist organization «Hizb ut-Tahrir» was destroyed in Crimea. 4 members were detained. It was reported that they promoted their radical ideology among the locals in Crimea. Numerous propaganda materials were confiscated from the suspects.

4 The UK

The British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss went to Moscow today for a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. She plans to call on Russia for a diplomatic solution to the crisis over Ukraine. This is the first visit of the head of the UK diplomatic mission to Russia in 4 years. The trip will take 2 days. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the USA and the UK fabricated the threat of a Russian attack on Ukraine to distract their populations from their own problems.

5 Russia

Russia welcomes the attempts of the Western countries to force Ukraine to comply with the Minsk agreements — the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated. She reminded that in the recent years not a single politician has been able to come up with a better formula for leading Ukraine out of the crisis than the Minsk agreements. The French President Emmanuel Macron also spoke about the need of Ukraine to fulfil the obligations in Donbass — he shares the Russian position on this issue.
