Military operation against the Kurds

The IDF press service reported that on Monday the Palestinian radicals from the Gaza Strip fired one rocket at the Israeli territory. The state-run Israeli radio «Kan» reported that the rocket exploded in an uninhabited area. No injuries or damage were reported. In response the Israeli tanks and a drone attacked the military posts and the underground structure of the »Hamas» group in the Gaza Strip — the IDF reported.

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense reported on Twitter that the Turkish Air Force destroyed 81 targets of the «Kurdistan Workers Party» at the north of Iraq during the operation »Eagle’s Claw», launched last night. Turkey considers the «Kurdistan Workers Party» to be a terrorist organization. «During the operation, 81 targets of the terrorists that threaten our country, nation, and our borders, were destroyed. Shelters, caches, and caves were destroyed. The airplanes returned safely to their air bases» — the ministry reported and added that it intends to «wage a fight until the last neutralized terrorist». The operation is being carried out in the northern Iraqi regions of Sinjar, Karajak, Kandil, Zap, Avashin-Basyan, and Hakurk. The Turkish Armed Forces use only aircraft to deliver targeted strikes against the »Kurdistan Workers Party».

The news website ‘Al-Masdar’ reported that the Syrian Air Force destroyed a convoy of terrorists in the mountainous region of Jebel al-Zaviya, in the south of the Idlib province. The terrorists of the ‘Horas al-Din’ group, associated with the ‘al-Qaida’ terrorist network, moved between the settlements of Deir-Sunbul and El-Baraa. As a result of the air strikes — dozens of terrorists were killed and injured. Several armored and military vehicles were destroyed as well. The ‘Al-Masdar’ added that the convoy had members of the ‘Turkestan Islamic Party’.

The DPRK authorities confirmed on air of the state-run TV the fact of the demolition of the inter-Korean communications office in the city of Kaesŏng. «The anti-enemy department has taken steps to completely destroy the inter-Korean coordination office in Kaesŏng» — the statement explained. It was reported that the measures were taken in response to the actions of the South Korean activists, who sent anti-government leaflets to the DPRK via balloons. The president of south Korea, Moon Jae-in, has ordered a meeting of the National Security Council due to the demolition of the DPRK office of inter-Korean communications — the administration of the South Korean president reports.

The »Al Masdar» news website reported that the USA are enhancing their military presence in Syria — for this purpose the USA sent a convoy of military vehicles from Iraq to the north of Hasakah. It was reported that a convoy of 200 army trucks crossed the Syrian-Iraqi border via the ‘Al Walid’ checkpoint. The convoy delivered a large volume of American military equipment to the area of Qamishli, 800 km away from Damascus. US Army reinforcements have also arrived to the area — the »Al Masdar» specified.

The Indian newspaper «Telegraph» reports, while citing their sources, that the Chinese army released 10 Indian servicemen who were captured during the clashes on 15th and 16th of June, in the East Ladakh. The newspaper reported that the act of transferring of PoWs took place on Thursday evening. It was reported that the Indian soldiers were released after the negotiations that took place on Thursday, at the level of major-generals and district commanders.
