The battles for Slavyansk began

1 The DPR

Latest news about the Special Military Operation. The DPR forces, supported by the Russian forces, liberated over 230 settlements in Donbass. The Territorial Defense HQ of the DPR reported that they are fighting for Slavyansk. The DPR reported that the Ukrainian forces are occupying civilian infrastructure and using the population as human shields. The report added that the Ukrainian forces used mortars and MLRS ’Grad’ to shell the DPR. 14 settlements were under fire. The spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, reported that the Russian air force hit a training center for the foreign mercenaries in Ukraine. The center was located in the town of Novograd-Volinsky, in the Zhytomir region. 2 command posts of the Ukrainian forces, 1 anti-aircraft missile system «Osa-AKM», and an ammo depot were destroyed as well. Over the past day, the Russian air force hit 18 areas of concentration of the Ukrainian manpower and armor. More than 200 Ukrainian servicemen, 5 tanks, 2 MLRS ’Grad’, 1 ammo depot for the rocket and artillery weapons were destroyed. The Russian anti-air forces shot down 1 Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft, and 13 UAVs. 1 Ukrainian ’Tochka-U’ missile was intercepted near the town of Kirovo. 2 rockets from MLRS ’Smerch’ were intercepted near the towns of Kamenka and Pante-ley-monovka.

2 Russia

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that the decree from the leadership of Nicaragua on the temporary presence of foreign forces in the country is routine in nature. The decree allows a temporary presence of troops from a number of countries, including Russia. The law allows the presence of the troops from Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, El Salvador, Russia, and the USA. Maria Zakharova added that Latin America is a continent of peace and stability. «It is not in our interests to disturb this stability and the balance of the powers» — she added. 3 Armenia

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, stated during a visit to Yerevan that the constant supply of Western weapons won’t lead to anything good. He mentioned that he has already held negotiations with his counterpart from Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan. Meetings are planned with the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and the President Vahagn Khachaturian. There was a discussion of the relations, and the situation with Nagorno-Karabakh. Ukraine was mentioned as well. Sergey Lavrov expressed a hope that the Ukrainians will stop looking for a way out by demanding the West to arm them, and supply them with anti-ship missiles that they want to use against the Russian warships in the Black Sea. «They should have given up on such rhetoric a long while ago, and instead of complaining on the mass media space in a hope of maintaining of their ratings — they should do concrete deeds» — Sergey Lavrov concluded.

4 Ukraine

«Ukraine is hosting a back-up data processing center of the State Tax Service in Poland» — the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, reported. The Ukrainian authorities are thus willing to disclose to Washington and Warsaw the information of national importance, including the tax information, and the data on the real financial situation in Ukraine. Sergei Naryshkin noted that Ukraine had already agreed to the annexation of Ukraine by Poland. «According to the information, received by the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia, the dreams of the Polish authorities about the return of the Eastern Kresov are being embodied in real actions» — the RIA NEWS quoted his words.

5 The DPR

Disturbing news from Donetsk. The Ukrainian forces fired 20 ’Grad’ rockets on Donetsk — the Joint Center for the Control of the ceasefire reported. All the rockets hit the Kiev district of the city. There were no reports of damage. Recently the DPR town of Krasny Liman came under a heavy shelling. As a result of the attack of the Ukrainian radicals, 2 people were killed. 1 was injured. There were also victims in the city of Stakhanov, in the LPR. The Ukrainian nationalists used «Grad» rockets and high-explosive shells. The central hospital and several living buildings were destroyed. The rescuers are currently clearing the rubble, under which there may still be some alive people.

6 Yemen

The Yemeni rebel leader died in a clash with the government forces — the ’Al-Masirah’ reported on 9th of June. According to the journalists — the leader was Major-General Yahya Abdula Rahman Al-Mutawakil. He led the rebel intelligence service in the province of Jauf, in the north of the country. Another 4 high-ranking rebel commanders, who led the defense in the city of Al-Hazm, died as well. The death of 5 commanders could be the result of a sabotage by the Yemeni army, or a precise strike by the Saudi Arabian Air Force, which supports the Yemeni government in the war against the rebels.
