Alexander Karpov added that “the terrorists are being trained in the terrorist training camps on the territories not controlled by the Syrian authorities, including the Al-Tanf zone, which is controlled by the US forces».

The head of the group for the formation of humanitarian supplies, Lieutenant-Colonel Dmitry Breduchev, stated that the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties held a humanitarian action along the M-4 highway, in the north-east of Syria, where the ethnic Kurds live. The humanitarian action in settlements along the M-4 highway was held for the first time. John Kirby added that the US Defense Department had no contact with the Russian Forces on this matter.

5 The USA — Moscow

The ’Axios’ reported with a reference to the US State Department that the US Ambassador to Russia, John Sullivan, will travel to Washington for consultations with the representatives of Joe Biden’s administration. In the coming weeks, he will return back to Moscow. It was noted that John Sullivan didn’t have an opportunity to consult with the representatives of the new administration from the moment he agreed to continue to remain in his office indefinitely.

An explosion took place in a 3-story residential building in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The explosion killed a child. 1 girl of the age of 2.5 months was rescued from the rubble by the rescuers. 8 people were injured, including 4 children. All the victims received medical help. 6 people are in the hospital. The explosion destroyed almost the entire 3rd floor. According to the preliminary data — a gas leak caused the explosion. The rescue work has been completed, no victims remain under the rubble, which will be cleared out over the next day. A temporary accommodation area was organized to accommodate residents, however they preferred to stay with relatives. Material compensation will be paid to the victims. The police opened a criminal case. It was reported that two employees of a gas service company, who had been working in the house the day before, had been arrested.
