The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out strikes on Donetsk

1 The DPR

5 people were killed and 23 were injured in the DPR during a Ukrainian rocket attack on the market in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk. The Ukrainian forces used an MLRS «Grad» — they fired 10 rockets. 1 store with flammable containers caught fire. The movement of 2 tram routes was suspended due to the Ukrainian attacks. 2 mines were cut off the grid, almost 140 people are trapped underground. About 20,000 people remain without electricity in their own homes. The DPR representatives in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire reported that the Ukrainian forces shelled the village of Zheleznaya Balka, in the DPR, with 15 82mm mortar shells.

2 Ukraine

The Russian forces managed to repel several missile attacks on residential areas — Igor Konashenkov reported on 28th of April. The Russian air defense troops intercepted several Ukrainian ballistic missiles ’’Tochka-U’’. Ukraine wanted to attack the hospital in the town of Izyum, where a Russian medical team is providing an aid to the locals. A similar attack on Kherson was stopped as well. The missiles were aimed at kindergartens, schools, and other such social institutions. Parts of the intercepted ballistic missiles fell on the residential buildings and in the local park.

3 Russia

Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and Donbass. The presidents discussed those matters while taking into account the outcome of the negotiations of the UN Secretary General, António Guterres, in Moscow. Putin thanked Erdogan for his help in the organization of the exchange of the Russian pilot, Konstantin Yaroshenko, for the American citizen, Trevor Reed. Erdogan stated that the Turkish mediation in the exchange was a sign of the importance that the Turkish authorities attach to peace, dialogue, and cooperation.

4 Russia

The FSB reported about a prevention of a terrorist attack in the mall ’Meganom’, in Simferopol. A local man was arrested — he is a former Ukrainian marine and a supporter of neo-Nazism. He was preparing an explosion and an arson in the mall after getting such order from the members of the ’’Azov battalion’’. An incendiary IED with spare components were found in the detainee’s house, as well as some extremist books and items of the Ukrainian nationalistic groups. His correspondence with the Ukrainian radicals, in which they planned the terrorist attack, was found as well. A criminal case has been initiated against the arrested man.

5 Belarus

During a meeting with the governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev, the president of Belarus — Alexander Lukashenko — stated that the entry of the countries of the former USSR into the Union State is quite possible — the press service of the Belarusian president reported. According to him, the creation of new principles will contribute to the development of economic potential, as well as the sovereignty and independence of Russia and Belarus. He added that other countries of the former Soviet Union would want to join such attractive opportunities and conditions.

6 Poland

Washington and Warsaw are working on the plans to establish the Polish control over their «historical possessions» in Ukraine — the director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, reported. According to his agency, the first stage of the «reunification» will be entry of the Polish troops into the western parts of Ukraine under the pretext of «protection against the Russian aggression» — the details of the upcoming mission are being discussed with the Joe Biden’s administration. «According to preliminary agreements, the mission will take place without a NATO mandate, but with the participation of the so-called «willing states». Warsaw has yet to agree with the potential participants in the «like-minded coalition» — the agency concluded. Constantine Reztsov, specially for the ANNA NEWS
