«The Ukrainian troops deployed additional checkpoints in the area of the so-called ‘Operation of the Combined Forces’ in order to keep an eye on the patrols of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission» — Yakov Osadchy, the official representative of the LPR People’s Militia, reported. “The common cases of detection of the Ukrainian military equipment by the staff of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, usually located in violation of the rules of the withdrawal, as well as in the civilian infrastructure of the settlements on the territory, controlled by Kiev, forced the command of the Ukrainian operational-tactical group ‘North’ to come up with new methods for early detection of the mission patrols, in order to swiftly relocate the prohibited weapons» — Yakov Osadchy explained.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin congratulated the residents of the Republic, and the Russians, with the ‘Day of Russia’ holiday. “We paid for our right to affirm our choice. Our freedom was won at the cost of losses and struggles that befell on every resident of Donbass. But, it couldn’t have happened otherwise. We are Russians — in spirit and in blood! We have same language, same culture, same history, and same common values” — said the leader of the DPR. He also expressed his gratitude to the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, and all the Russians for their help and support.

Most of the residents moved to other areas, due to the proximity of the village to the front line. However, people still live in some houses.

According to him, as a result of the incident — a local man received multiple shrapnel wounds. Moderately wounded, he was taken to a hospital in Slavyanoserbsk, where he was given a proper medical care. “The command of the People’s Militia asks all the citizens — beware! If you find any explosive objects — do not come near them, and do not touch them. Stay at a safe distance, and do not allow anyone else to approach the object until the arrival of the specialists» — Yakov Osadchy urged.

“Ukraine is manipulating their obligations in the matter of opening of the new checkpoints in the area of the villages of Zolotoe and Shastie” — said Olga Kobtseva, the head of the LPR humanitarian group in the contact group, and the head of the LPR working group on the exchange of PoWs. She added that during the recent video conference, Ukraine provided a road map that allows to simultaneously open the checkpoints at the villages of Shastie and Zolotoe. “Our side made plans and deadlines for this roadmap. However, in order to fulfill all these obligations — a security regime is needed. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian side hasn’t ensured a security regime up until this day” — Olga Kobtseva explained.
