The Ukrainian troops continue to shell the Donbass

3 residential buildings were damaged as a result of a shelling by the Ukrainian troops of the village of Golubovskoye, adjacent to the town of Kirovsk, said Yakov Osadchy, the official representative of the LPR People’s Militia. The shelling was done from a heavy machine gun. Yakov Osadchy reported that «the troops of the People’s Militia stopped the enemy shelling», as a result of which 1 Ukrainian soldier was seriously injured.

As a result of a Ukrainian shelling of the village of Aleksandrovka on 28th of June — 2 residential buildings were damaged. The local school number 116 was also damaged in the village of Trudovskaya mine, near the city of Donetsk. The Ukrainian troops fired 135 shells at the settlements of the DPR.

On the evening of 29th of June the Ukrainian troops once again opened fire on the village of Aleksandrovka, and the village of Trudovskaya mine. As a result of the shelling — the house number 10 on the Shevchenko Street, in the village of Aleksandrovka, caught fire. Due to the ongoing shelling, the employees of the Emergency services couldn’t extinguish the fire. The houses number 39 and 41 on the Lugovskii street in the village of Trudovskaya mine were damaged as well.

On 29th of June the Ukrainian troops fired at the village of Frunze. As a result of the shelling — a local civilian was injured. The LPR representative office in the Joint Center for the Monitoring and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime recorded the consequences of the shelling. One of the employees of the LPR representative office at the Center reported that the Ukrainian troops fired on the village from an IFV auto-cannon, from the village of Krymskoye.

“The resolution of the UN Security Council on the universal and immediate cessation of hostilities due to the coronavirus pandemic is an important and timely decision” — said Daria Morozova, the Commissioner for the Human Rights in the DPR, and a representative of the DPR in the Minsk subgroup on the humanitarian issues. She also called on the Ukrainian leadership to step up the implementation of the Minsk agreements, in particular — on the joint efforts to coordinate the solution of the humanitarian problems on the contact line in Donbass. On 1st of July, the UN Security Council supported the call of the UN secretary general, Antonio Guterres, to cease fire in all conflicts on the planet due to the coronavirus pandemic.
