1 the UN

The UK, France and Germany adopted a joint statement in which they blamed Iran for the attack on the Saudi oil facilities. The statement was made after the UN General Assembly, during a meeting of the head of the UK government Boris Johnson, the French President Emmanuel Macron, and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel. «It is clear to us that Iran is responsible for this attack. There is no other plausible explanation. We support the ongoing investigations in order to establish further details» — they stated. The leaders of the three countries also indicated that although the attacks were directed against Saudi Arabia — they do concern all the states, since they increase the risk of a major conflict. They called on Tehran to return to the fulfilling of its obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action for the Iranian Nuclear Program. Earlier, the Yemeni rebels claimed the responsibility for the attack. The US and Saudi Arabia blame Tehran.

2 the USA — Poland

The presidents of the US and Poland, Donald Trump and Andrzej Duda, while being in New York, have discussed their opposition of the »Nord Stream 2 project» — the US administration reported. According to the statements — »Nord Stream 2» threatens the European energy security. Earlier, Donald Trump has repeatedly criticized this project, and called on Europe to diversify their energy supply sources. He proposed, as an alternative, to buy liquefied natural gas from the US. Trump and Duda also signed a »Joint Declaration on Military Cooperation», thus confirming that the number of the US troops on Polish territory will increase by a 1,000 of servicemen. Duda believes that the presence of the US troops in Poland is «the best way to prevent new military conflicts.»

3 the USA — Venezuela

After their meeting in New York, the foreign ministers of the countries of the Inter-American Mutual Assistance Treaty, the so-called »Rio de Janeiro Pact», adopted a resolution on economic sanctions against Venezuela. The parties of the treaty want to impose sanctions on individuals and organizations that, according to the treaty countries, are associated with the “regime of Nicolas Maduro». Specificaly, against those who are involved in money laundering, drug trafficking, terrorism, and other “serious human rights violations”. The countries of the treaty intend to undertake “criminal prosecution, seizure and extradition”, as well as blocking of the assets of such individuals and organizations. The treaty is made of the USA, Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, and some other American states.

4 Russia — the USA

The USA didn’t issue visas to 10 members of the Russian delegation, including a member of the Russian Federal Council, Konstantin Kosachev. The visas are needed to participate in the UN General Assembly. «In violation of its own obligations to the international community, the USA didn’t issue the visas for several members of the official delegation, and for a group of accompanying persons who planned to fly to New York today, in order to attend the 74th session of the UN General Assembly» — said Konstantin Kosachev. «This is an outrageous action that has no explanation or excuse» — he concluded. Moscow considers the US explanation of the technical reasons for the refusal, as well as the alleged violations of the deadline for the applying for visas, to be baseless. The first deputy head of the committee on the international affairs of the Russian Federal Council, Vladimir Dzhabarov, suggested that Russia should give the most harsh responce to such actions of the USA.
