UAVs attacked the US Embassy in Iraq

The local mass media reported that one of the UAVs attacked a military facility near the US Embassy. The ’’Al Hadath TV’’ reported while citing their sources about a rocket attack on the ’’green zone’’ in downtown Baghdad, where the government buildings and foreign diplomatic missions, including the US embassy, are located.

A strong explosion took place in the 7th district of Kabul, near a police checkpoint — the «Ariana TV» reported while citing the intelligence sources. According to the preliminary information — it was a TNT-filled car-bomb. No other details have been reported yet.
4 The UK — Afghanistan
The UK Deputy Secretary of Defense James Hippie stated that the UK would launch air-strikes on Afghanistan to fight the terrorist threat after the pulling of the UK troops from the country. He explained that the UK reserves the right to counter the terrorist threats that could re-emerge in Afghanistan.
5 Armenia — Azerbaijan
The ’’Armenpress’’ news agency reported that the General Staff of the Armenian Forces reported that near the village of Verin Shorzha, in the Gegharkunik region, a shoot-out between servicemen of Azerbaijan and Armenia took place. The General Staff of the Armenian Forces stated that the Azerbaijani troops provoked the shoot-out. As a result of the shootout, 1 Armenian serviceman was slightly wounded. 2 servicemen of Azerbaijan were wounded as well. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denied the Armenian report on a shoot-out on the border of the two countries. The ministry stated that there was no shooting from the Azerbaijani army, and there were no wounded among the servicemen.

AN-26 airplane crashed in Kamchatka. There were 22 passengers and 6 crew members on board. According to the mass media reports — nobody survived the crash. The wreckage of the plane was found 4 km from the airport. Before the crash, the airplane presumably hit a rock — parts of airplane fell into the Sea of Okhotsk. The press service of the Investigative Committee reported that the investigation is considering 3 possible causes of the crash, aside from the weather conditions and a crew error.
