Ukrainian forces continue the shelling of Donbass

On 19th of May, the Ukrainian troops shelled the front-line village of Yelenovka. As a result of the shelling a local woman was injured. A bullet hit her in the back when she was waiting for a bus at a bus stop. An ambulance car delivered her to the Gusak Institute of Emergency and Reconstructive Surgery in the city of Donetsk, where she received the necessary help.

The residents of the frontline village of Donetskii, which is being systematically shelled by the Ukrainian troops, are asking to stop the aggression of the Ukrainian troops. On 19th of May the Ukrainian troops shelled the village of Donetskii from mortars and BMP weapons. As a result, 3 residential buildings were damaged. Luckily there were no casualties among the civilians after the shelling.

The Ukrainian troops continue their shelling of the residential areas of the Republic. On 21st of May the village of Staromikhaylovka, near the city of Donetsk, was shelled once again. Large-caliber artillery was used during the shelling. Several houses were damaged. There were no victims.

«All the medical facilities of the LPR, as well as their medical staff, are ready to provide an assistance in case if Kiev escalates the situation on the contact line» — said the LPR Minister of Health, Natalia Pashchenko. Earlier, the Head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, ordered the People’s Militia troops to be fully operational due to the escalation of the tension on the contact line by the Ukrainian troops.

«The employees of the Border Guard Service of the Ministry of State Security of the LPR seized more than 3,000 pieces of weapons and ammunition from a weapon stash of the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance forces. «2 civilians of the Republic were killed, 28 were injured as a result of the Ukrainian shelling during the year of the presidency of Vladimir Zelensky» — the LPR representative in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire stated. “As a result of the Ukrainian aggression against the inhabitants of the Republic — 2 residents died during the past year of rule of the so-called »president-peacemaker». 28 civilians were injured, including 3 children and 9 women” — the report concluded.
