Ukrainian radicals opened fire on the Ukrainian troops

The DPR People’s Militia Department reports: The Ukrainian radicals opened fire on the Ukrainian military near the entrance to the site of the withdrawal of the military forces and assets near the village of Petrovskoye. There is information about the plans of the nationalist organizations to create mobile groups made of veterans, volunteers and former soldiers in order to destabilize the situation around the withdrawal site ‘Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka’.

«The process of withdrawal of the military forces and assets near the village of Zolotoy goes as planned» — the head of the LPR representative office in the Joint Center for the Monitoring and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime, guard Colonel Mikhail Filiponenko, announced. The deputy head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, Mark Etherington, specified that Ukraine is fully complying with its obligations for this stage of the withdrawal. Mikhail Filiponenko added that the representative office of the LPR in the Joint Center established observation points in the withdrawal zone near the village of Zolotoy.

«By demanding the compliance with a week-long ceasefire at the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka area — Kiev seeks to delay the start of the withdrawal of the military forces as much as possible» — said the representative of the DPR in the security subgroup of the Contact Group in Minsk, Alexey Nikonorov. Yesterday, the representative of Ukraine in the working group on the security issues, Bogdan Bondar, announced that the withdrawal of the military forces near the village of Petrovskoye can begin on 4th or 5th of November, after a 7-days long ceasefire in the area. “This requirement isn’t necessary. It wasn’t agreed upon during the talks in Minsk. Ukrainian obsession with this condition is nothing more than an attempt to postpone the elimination of their own violations at the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka site as much as possible» — Alexey Nikonorov explained.

A soldier of the LPR People’s Militia, Guard Private Alexander Pepelyaev, spoke about the current situation in the area around the village of Shastie. He noted that the Ukrainian troops don’t comply with the ceasefire, and they also intensified their air reconnaissance.
