According to the Representatives of the DPR in the Joint Control and Coordination Center — on 27th of July there was no shelling from the Ukrainian troops. Additional measures, taken to enhance and control the existing indefinite ceasefire, have come into force on the territory of Donbass.

The new truce lasted more than 2 days — which is 44 hours more than the previous try to establish a ceasefire in Donbass. On 29th of July the representative office of the DPR in the Joint Control and Coordination Center recorded a violation by the Ukrainian troops. They fired from the village of Avdeevka at the village of Yakovlevka from small arms. No more details have been received yet. We continue to monitor the situation.

The first president of Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk, who led the Kiev delegation at the negotiations of the contact group on Donbass, announced his readiness to make compromises during the resolution of the conflict. Kravchuk announced it during an interview to the ‘RBC-Ukraine’. «There is only one mission — to end the war, and let peace reign in Ukraine, so that we can live in peace. Without blood, without horrors, without losses, without destruction. This is my mission — to make sure that there is peace in Donbass and in Ukraine. I will do whatever I can. We will make compromises» — he said. Speaking about the special status of Donbass, the ex-president noted that he would advocate the transition from general words to solid actions. «It will be a governance that benefits the people who live there, just so the people would feel that they are the masters of their land» — he added. Kravchuk noted that «there are things that can’t be compromised, such as sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence, and integrity of the borders. Those issues won’t being discussed» — he underlined.

The vehicles of the 97th convoy from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, loaded with humanitarian aid for the residents of Donbass, have arrived in Lugansk and Donetsk. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LPR reported that 8 Russian vehicles delivered medicines. The previous convoy with humanitarian aid arrived in Donbass on 19th of December, 2019. The residents of Donetsk and Lugansk were given more than 435 tons of medicines and children’s food, such as infant formula and canned food.

«During the meeting of the subgroup on the security issues, the Kiev delegation refused to approve a complete list of the sites for the demining» — said the DPR office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire. Earlier it was reported about plans to discuss the implementation of the additional measures to control the ceasefire, demining activities, and withdrawal of troops in Donbass, during an extraordinary meeting of the subgroup. The negotiations took place as a video conference.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 200 Ukrainian servicemen stepped on Ukrainian mines in the zone of the so-called «joint forces operation.» 85 of them died — said Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People’s Militia of the LPR.
