According to the Russian Defense Ministry — Russian air defense systems repelled a drone missile attack, launched by terrorists at the Russian air base ‘Hmeimim’ in Syria. During the defense, the Russian AA systems destroyed 2 terrorist strike drones. This was also reported by the Arabian news site ‘Al-Masdar’. The strike drones approached the military base from a location in north-west Syria, which is currently controlled by the »Tahrir al-Sham» terrorist group. There were no injuries or material damage during the attack. The Hmeimim airbase works as usual.
