Before the start of the UN General Assembly, Iran accused the US of not issuing visas to the Iranian delegation. Shortly before the event, it became known that the Iranian delegation did receive their visas after all. The US did not issue visas to several employees of the Russian Foreign Ministry — to the members of the Russian delegation. The UK, France and Germany adopted a joint statement in which they blamed Iran for the attack on the Saudi oil facilities. The Pentagon announced that the USA plan to deploy a battery of Patriot air defense system in Saudi Arabia, 4 ‘Sentinel’ radars and about 200 servicemen. “This deployment will enhance the kingdom’s air and missile defense, and their critically important military and civilian infrastructure.
