By making an ultimatum to Turkey — the United States de-facto admitted their defeat in the negotiations on the purchase of the Russian S-400 AA missile systems. The Air forces of the Libyan government of national consent performed air strikes on the positions of the Libyan National Army, headed by the Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in the north of the country — Interfax reports with a reference to the Anatolian news agency.
